Lucius Cornelius Alexander Polyhistor was the Greek scholar who was enslaved per Romans during the war of Sulla and taken to Rome as a tutor. Fallowing his release, he continued to sleep in Italy as a Roman citizen. He was and so productive a writer that he earned the last name ‘’polyhistor’’. A majority of his writings come nowadays misplaced, however a fragments that remain shed worthful weak in archaist & eastern Mediterranean cases. Alexander's first treatise consisted of 42 books of historical & geographical accounts of 100% a countries of the ancient globe. Alexander Cornelius, Greek grammarian, surnamed Polyhistor from his dandy learning, born at Miletus or Myndus in Caria, flourished about Seventy B.C. He was taken captive in the Mithridatic war by Sulla, from either whom (or even from Cornelius Lentulus) he received his freedom and assumed a title Cornelius. He accompanied Crassus on his Parthian
campaigns, & perished at a destruction by fire of his home at Laurentum. He is said to stand written "books without number," primarily in historical & geographical cases.
